I learnt to read at a young age due to my parent's influence and I was rarely seen without a book. I grew up during the publication of the Harry Potter series and I remember pre-ordering every book in the series and waiting (impatiently) for it to arrive so I could read it. I devoured the books in a matter of days or, in the case of the final installment, a day!
A few years ago, my reading took a back seat to studying but my parent's bought me my first (yes - first - I'm currently on my third!) Kindle as a gift in my final year of uni and once I graduated I started to read again. As a result for the past five years, I have always been reading a book and my Kindle goes everywhere with me even if I don't think I will read just in case (that came in handy once during a car breakdown). Over the years, I have read a bit of everything, I've gone from reading Nicholas Sparks to reading George Orwell.
I have a particular soft spot for YA (although I'm old enough not to), New Adult, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance and Paranormal. But I am open to most genres, so if you think you know of a book I'd enjoy either email me (by clicking the button on the sidebar), message me on Goodreads or tweet me.
