Fans of the Divergent series by No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth will be thrilled by this collection of short stories told from Four’s perspective!
DIVERGENT – a major motion picture in 2014.
This collection of short stories explores the world of the Divergent series through the eyes of the mysterious but charismatic Tobias Eaton, revealing previously unknown secrets of his personality and intriguing backstory.
See how it all began for Four…
Features the following stories: ‘The Transfer’, ‘The Initiate’, ‘The Son’, ‘The Traitor’ plus the knife-throwing scene known as ‘Free Four’ .
Four is a set of four short stories told from, you guessed if, Four's POV:

The Transfer
The Initiate
The Son
The Traitor

The first three are before Four meets Tris and the last after she transfers from Abnegation to Dauntless. The whole time I was reading the Divergent series, especially the last book, I just wanted more and more Four! Nothing was enough and I just wanted to get into his mind some more and I got my wish with this book.

With each story you progress through you learn more about Four and how he works, how his childhood affects his day to day life as a control room worker and initiate trainer. I loved getting to see this side of Four and at different periods of his life in Dauntless and his, as readers of the Divergent know, founded suspicions in relation to the Dauntless leadership and Jeanine.

The whole book was so much fun to read and it really gives you an even greater insight into Four and his life pre and post Dauntless and pre and post Tris. It was so much fun to read and I could just picture him in some of the situations.

You can feel the difference in him with each instalment as he beats his demons based around his past with his father and become a stronger, more mature young man. Fighting not just his father but his leaders. You can just feel his determination to get on with life and fight for what he believes in.

At the end there are a few bonus scenes which I wasn't expecting so I will say nothing else on those expect that I LOVED them and ever Divergent fan out there will love them too.
