Summary:

Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex—usually, she can’t get up the nerve to approach guys she’s interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it’s time to push past her fears and go after what she wants.

Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he’s as loyal as they come. So when Olivia turns to him with her relationship woes, he offers to instruct her in the art of flirting and to help her become more sexually confident.

The friendly education in seduction soon grows into an intense and hot romance. But then Nate’s past and commitment issues rear their ugly heads, and Olivia is left broken-hearted. When Nate realizes he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he will have to work harder than he ever has before to entice his best friend into falling back in love with him—or he may lose her forever…

I've been a huge fan of Samantha Young and this series for a long while. I absolutely loved reading this series and all its character's stories. I really related to this one, I understand exactly how Olivia is feeling in this and why she sought the help from Nate she did and it worked. It helped her to realise and understand just how amazing she is and that she deserves to find her big love.

Olivia is surrounded by big love, all her friends have met the one person they will spend the rest of their lives with. She is constantly surrounded by them and the love they feel for each other. The only two left without their big loves are her and Nate. They share the same circle of friends and after a drunken omission on Olivia's half Nate decides to help her she through her fears and teaches her, to put it bluntly, how to flirt and fuck.

When I first read their plan I was worried. I knew from the outset this wouldn't go well but I had faith in Samantha and I knew that in the end they would see the light and be together like they needed to and deserved to. The journey was a great one to read, you could see from the start that they had a great chemistry going on and needed to find each other.

And then there's Nate. Oh boy. He is hot. So, so hot. He comes out with things that really shouldn't be hot but they are and then there was this gem of a line when Olivia put him in his place:

"Olivia, sweetheart, would you please strip down to your underwear for me?"

Such an awesome line from Nate. And then there's an incredibly sweet moment where he admits how he feels for her and shows him the change that he's made to a very special tattoo. When you first meet Nate in this series you think he's just an arse who screws women and then leaves them but there's so much more to him and this book really shows that side of him to the readers and you really do fall in love with him.

The thing I most loved about this book was that Nate and Olivia both needing saving and they saved each other. Olivia showed Nate that he could move on and love another woman and Nate showed Olivia that she was beautiful and deserved to be loved.
